Strengthening Literacy Skills through Readers Theater
· Guide
and support readers of all levels and learning modalities in an
experience
that enables them to actively participate and succeed in moving beyond
the boundaries of language.
· Strengthen
awareness of rhyme and rhythm as a pre-requisite for reading readiness,
decoding and attending skills
· Activate
and build upon prior knowledge and experiences in a collaborative and
success
oriented experience towards fluency, comprehension and
proficiency.

confidence and competence in Cree Language skills

to integrate learning outcomes with literacy strategies from the
